“Dear Sally and Sarah and all Dad’s lovely ladies.
I am writing on behalf of my Mum and myself for all the care you gave to my father.
He was always very pleased to see his “lovely Ladies” as we called you. He spoke of you right up to his last days, and dearly wished to be home and have you care for him.
You showed great kindness, enthusiasm and respect to him when carrying out his personal care. You care also enabled him to stay at home which he wanted.
Your company is greatly needed by people wishing to stay in their homes with some care.”
“What a kind thought to send the lovely pot of flowers from you and the staff for my birthday. The colours were my favourites and I was very touched. I still value the help of the carers even though thankfully I’m feeling better able to cope. The girls are always so pleasant and helpful, so many thanks to them all.”
” Please say a big thank you to your team of carers who helped me with my husband, even though it was only a few weeks, he built up a rapport with them. We were both very grateful for the help and support, giving my husband his wish to be at home.”
“I’m sure it’s good for you to know that the whole family is very reassured that I am in the good hands of your lovely people. It was nice to meet some owners of those hands whom I had not met before. Thanks again; and I am not disappearing yet, so look forward to the next occasion. “
“The practice nurse is pleased with the progress of my legs. Isn’t that good? Shows I’m being well looked after, doesn’t it?”
“I asked if Maggie would come in to the appointment with me as she has said she would like to understand more about my condition (which is quite rare). It was really helpful having her there as she made some useful points about how I was doing and asked about things I had forgotten. She also came into the blood test – they managed to get blood at the first go, which is a record for me! Thank you again – Maggie is a real credit to Sally & Sarah.”
“To everyone past and present thank you for how both my wife and I were treated sometimes under difficult circumstances. Your calmness, professional, considerate manner and attitude was exemplary in all necessary and personal requirements.”
